Crimson Sugar spent most of her childhood nose- deep in books and encased in leotards and tights. During extensive and fun-filled childhood training in tap dancing and baton twirling, Crimson Sugar found herself onstage at the age of four and loved every moment of it. She hails from a small city in the Midwest, and left the Bible belt and cows for the excitement of Europe and the UK. She started her Pin-up career with a photo shoot for the Boudoir Book and Ikonography in Liverpool and her pin-up work is featured in both the United Kingdom and the United States. Crimson Sugar loves music, a good book, and an even better cocktail. She began her burlesque career under the tutelage of Madame MacKay and Sweet Louise, who taught her the value of good pasties and fun choreography. She is a founding member of Burlesque Downtown Underground in Kansas City. Crimson Sugar continues to perform in both the States and the UK, always providing a creative tease and a good laugh to all of her appreciative audiences.
